FAQs

Like all our waxed canvas items, the Helsing is wonderfully water-resistant. While not truly waterproof in the sense of a tech fabric, the Helsing's waxed canvas will keep you dry in all but the heaviest downpours.

The Helsing was designed as a gothic inspired, mid-length waxed canvas trench coat. As such there are no current plans to offer it in a different material.

Waxed canvas is remarkable durable — it's one of the things that make it such a great material! As such, it shouldn't require as much maintenance as other fabrics. If you would like to wipe it off, you can spot clean with cold water. Don't subject the Helsing to heat as it will strip the wax from the fabric (which can be put back, but it's a labor intensive process!).
