A little snug but thats because put on a little weight. Feels phenomenal! Looking freaking great
I'm not the kind of person who constantly feels great about how he looks. I'm definitely more interested in being comfortable than looking good. Sure I like how dress shirts look but tucking in my shirt always feels uncomfortable because I don't like feeling resistance from my clothing when I move. After thus vest arrived I went through my wardrobe and found I only have one shirt that it goes well with. Its a dress shirt and they only look good if I tuck the shirt in. I've worn the outfit multiple times since my vest arrived. I feel Fantastic! When I'm wearing my Victorian Disciple Harker. I just showed off pictures of it to coworkers after they saw my volante jacket for the first time. My reaction was hey my jacket looks good but you've gotta see this vest. I feel so confident and great about myself in this vest. I've been wanting a vest for years but it's hard to justify buying something expensive for occasional use. Unless it's Volante. It's much harder not to buy.
My fiancé and I bought this for him to wear at our wedding next year. It’s perfect and we’re both so excited :)
I originally picked up a Harker Vest when it first came out as a fitting pair up for the Alucard long coat. The initial run was an all black cotton canvas material and I just didn't love wearing it. It was stiffer than the other vest designs and the angled buttons made for a tighter fit on me than the others as well. The second run was a gray Herringbone wool version to fit along with the Rook coat. I hesitated and it sold out before I decided to give it a try. This round, I was quicker to pick up the navy Herringbone wool version mainly because I was happy to add another color option in my Volante Design wardrobe. And I'm glad I did! I absolutely love that version of the vest! The wool is more flexible and it's a much better fit because of it. The Herringbone wool has a nicer feel and I personally think it compliments the design better than the brushed cotton canvas does. The extra cost of the different material is honestly worth it. The Harker Vest is a great design but if it were up to me, I'd never offer the brushed cotton canvas version and instead focus on restocking and adding more colors for the Herringbone wool version. It's just such a better match to the style and it wears a lot better. I will not hesitate again for another Herringbone wool version of the Harker Vest. I certainly hope it becomes a champion as I'd love for more people to be able to experience how great this vest can be!
Great fit, and the look is striking! The snaps are crisp, the material is classic fashion, the cut is contemporary, and the colored stitching pops! Extremely pleased with my Harker.
