Volante is our family name- to us it means grandfathers who designed and built cars from scratch, even upholstering the seats with our elegant v. It reminds us of a grandmother who beaded a dress for a First Lady Florence Harding (yes it can be seen in the Smithsonian). The Volante v still hangs at Ma’s house where we’ve eaten so many wonderful home cooked meals. For us it stands for care, for flair and for something extraordinary.
