The Peregrine is the sleekest and lightest jacket that we’ve offered to date. It takes elements from our best-sellers for an ideal balance of the signature looks of the Birds of Prey line. The Peregrine falcon is the fastest animal in the air, reaching horizontal cruising speeds of 65- 68 mph and we've incorporated that sense of eye-watering speed into the design of our jacket. Made out of a super durable, military-grade ripstop fabric, the Peregrine will take you wherever you need to fly. The Peregrine also offers gauntlet-style cuffs to keep your sleeves secure, shoulder design engineered to maintain your range of movement, a removable hood, and zippered pockets to keep your things secure through all your vaults and rolls. An ideal balance of aerodynamic form and lightweight strength, the Peregrine is perfect for your longest journeys.

    best of both...

bought as a gift in the freerunner color scheme. the fit was perfect, and the color combination of grey and black is eyecatching and versatile. i chose this jacket because it has the color pattern of the falcon and the cuffed sleeves of the kestrel. i myself own the mens cut of both falcon and peregrine, so i know the fabric and stitching are high quality and comfortable. a very nice mid-weight option that catches attention every time you wear it. a well received gift that will get it's use for many years to come.

    Okay, hear me out: I

Okay, hear me out: I regret nothing, and. This. Jacket. Is. Awesome. Story time : believe me when I say that it was not a spontaneous impulse. I literally spent months coming back to this very page, before finally pressing that "Add to cart" button, and even decided to e-mail Volante before hand because I wasn't sure which size would fit me best. After a quick response, I ended up choosing the Female-cut XS which "might be a little snug" around the waist but would apparently fit me well enough. And there went $310 (jacket) $70 (shipping). Anyway, I got an e-mail telling me that my Rogue Peregrine was bound to end up at my doorstep 3 days later, which made me go "yeah right, it's coming all the way from the USA (I live in Europe), I know how those things work and I'll probably get it in like 4 weeks or something". But what do you know, I really DID get it 3 days later, only handed over by an UPS guy who charged me $140 for costume fees. Damn, didn't expect something that dramatic. But hey! Once I opened the box I was the most happy person on earth for the next hour, and paraded my fabulous new jacket around the house, despite blazing hot 106°. It's flawless and fits perfectly (even if effectively a bit snug around the waist, but that's just for me) ! The range of movement is amazing (makes me want to start free-running, despite being as fit as an old dying dog), the pockets are great (I hoarded all the mobile phones of the house and could fit around 3-4 random stuff in one pocket, and there are 3 of them, amazing I tell you !), the fabric, details and stitching are really well done and the hood is super cool. Basically I'm eagerly waiting for summer to end so I can finally start wearing it. tldr: This jacket is the most awesome thing that happened to me this year and I love it, even if it ended up costing quite a bit more than expected.
